What we do
We are a building permit service, and we obtain building permits for our clients. We take care of all required applications, submittal documents, reviews by concerned departments, and filing fees for the project.
Why use us
Dealing with county and city officials can be downright intimidating and time consuming for someone new to this process. We have the requisite experience and know how, and we make sure that you get the building permits without unnecessary delays and headaches.
What is the building permit process
It varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and it depends on the nature and scope of your work. The building permit process primarily involves plan review and construction inspection. During plan review city or county staff reviews the permit application and building plans for compliance with building codes. If necessary, they also check your plans for compliance with zoning laws, setbacks, parking and landscaping ordinance, ADA, and other requirements pertinent to land use. The plans may also be reviewed by Planning Department, Engineering, Design Review, and Fire Department. Commercial projects my also have hearings before elected or appointed bodies like the Planning Commission.
What about special circumstances
If an applicant finds it difficult to comply with local ordinance due to factors like severe slope of land, odd shape of lot, or where existing laws cause severe hardship and prevent the property owner from enjoying the same kind of property use that the neighboring properties have, the applicant can apply for a variance. We specialize in variance applications.
Areas we cover
We currently provide services in Clackamas county and its incorporated cities.
What we don't do

Other Services
